Kamala Harris hosts what might be the biggest Democratic marketing campaign rally in Michigan in years
Reporters on the ground say the crowd at the Harris-Waltz event in Michigan is the largest they have seen at a Democratic campaign since 2016.
Here is a picture of the crowd:

JD Vance attracted an estimated few hundred people 30 miles outside of Detroit, while Harris and Walz have already spoken to 12,000 people in Wisconsin.
Comparisons to Obama's 2008 campaign should not be made lightly, but there is still a special energy simmering around Harris' campaign. It is an energy that Donald Trump and his running mate cannot match, and, almost as important for Republicans, Trump does not seem interested in trying.
If Harris and Walz bring such success to the Midwest, Trump and the Republican Party could face massive problems.
Crowds like this with this kind of energy are what make election victories.
