Trump's financial speech in Detroit was such a catastrophe that Newsmax dropped him

Even the ever-faithful Newsmax dropped Trump during a disastrous attempt at an economic speech in Detroit.

Trump began his speech with a lie about the response to Hurricane Helene in North Carolina:

Trump

later claimed that the American auto industry was failing. (It's not):

Just as Trump was about to announce his big plan to “save” the auto industry, Newsmax cut his speech short:

Newsmax is even more loyal to Trump than Fox News, and there's only one reason they would have dropped his speech to resume coverage of the hurricane, and that's because minute-by-minute viewership data showed that Trump's people Turn off speech. The channel had to move on to something else to win back its viewers.

Trump fatigue is very real. There are signs in each of his strongest supporters that Donald Trump's performance has waned after nearly a decade, and if pressed, even some of his supporters will admit they would like to continue.
