Trump Marketing campaign Makes use of Faux Auto Staff at JD Vance Michigan Occasion
JD Vance held an event in Detroit attended by people wearing “Autoworkers For Trump” T-shirts who were not autoworkers.
The Detroit News reported:
On Tuesday, Brian Pannebecker of Macomb County, who founded the Auto Workers group for Trump, said China controls the materials needed for electric vehicles.

At Vance's event in Detroit, there were more than a dozen people in the crowd wearing “Auto Workers for Trump.”
“T-shirts. However, two of the people, Carl Leonard of Chesterfield Township and Terry Flannery of Richmond, told The Detroit News that they were not auto workers but rather Trump supporters to whom Pannebecker gave the shirts.
Sure there are auto workers who will vote for Trump, but it's a campaign scam to dress people in shirts they have nothing to do with to create the illusion of support that doesn't exist.
The fake autoworkers are an example of the foundation of Trump's entire political career, which is based on selling perceptions and illusions to counteract reality.
Trump is angry at auto workers in Michigan for not supporting him. Why auto workers would support a candidate who has done more harm to workers as president than anyone since Ronald Reagan is a compelling question.
Trump is neither pro-union nor pro-worker. When it comes to workers, his record is so bad that his campaign has to use fake auto workers to generate even a hint of support in one of America's most worker-friendly cities.
