Trump and Vance blame Biden for Elon Musk inflicting chaos

Donald Trump and JD Vance blame President Biden for Elon Musk's devastation to the federal spending bill.

JD Vance released this statement attributed to Trump and Vance:

The stupidest, most clumsy thing Republicans in Congress ever did was allow our country to hit the debt ceiling in 2025. This was a mistake and needs to be addressed now.

Meanwhile, Congress is considering a spending bill that would provide favorable provisions to government censors and Liz Cheney. The bill would make it easier to hide the records of the corrupt January 6 committee – which provided nothing to the American people and covered up security failures that occurred that day. This bill would also give Congress a pay raise while many Americans are struggling this Christmas.

Raising the debt ceiling isn't great, but we'd rather do it under Biden's watch. If Democrats won't cooperate on the debt ceiling now, what makes anyone think they will in June while we're in office? Let's have this debate now. And we should pass a simplified spending bill that doesn't give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want.

Republicans want to support our farmers, pay for disaster relief, and prepare our country for success in 2025. The only way to achieve this is a temporary funding law WITHOUT DEMOCRATIC GIFTS combined with a debt ceiling increase. Anything else is a betrayal of our country.

Republicans need to GET SMART and HARD. When Democrats threaten to shut down the government if we don't give them everything they want, you're calling their bluff. It's Schumer and Biden

that are holding up aid to our farmers and disaster relief.

This chaos wouldn't be happening if we had a real president. WE WILL BE IN 32 DAYS!

Just a reminder of Donald Trump oversaw the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. The 35-day shutdown cost the US economy $11 billion.

The person responsible for this chaos is not Joe Biden, but Elon Musk, an unelected billionaire who knows nothing about the government.

Trump shows he can't fix anything. His only ability is to destroy things. Donald Trump was more than happy to let the CR pass until Elon Musk started getting all the attention, so he had to remind everyone that all eyes should be on him. Thanks to Musk, Trump now owns this mess and all the instability that will result from it.
