Nevada has extraordinarily excessive youth participation

The number of young people in Nevada is so large that voting is slowed in the state.

Video from Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar on CNN:

When asked about the delays in clearing the ballots, Aguilar said, “We're having a little bit of a problem with that right now because we're seeing high engagement and voter turnout among our youth.” And this is probably the first time they've had an official one Had to use signature. What’s on their driver’s license, their voter registration form and what’s on their ballot is a little different, so we’re trying to work with them to move forward in the healing process.”

The foreign minister buried the lede. He's probably most concerned about a smooth election, but the idea that young people's turnout is so high that it slows down the electoral process is very important.

With young voters overwhelmingly supporting Democrats, the high turnout among young people in Nevada could be even worse news for Republicans, on a day when a sense of panic is already growing around Republicans as more Democrats turn out than expected on Election Day vote and the Republicans don't. So far they haven't achieved the turnout they expected.
