JD Vance simply made Trump's Arlington Cemetery scandal a lot worse
When asked in Erie, Pennsylvania, about Trump's illegal use of Arlington National Cemetery, JD Vance replied that veterans don't care and attacked Tim Walz.

When Vance was asked about the scandal, he said:
The confrontation at Arlington Cemetery is a story that the media is making up, although I don't think there is one. There is verifiable evidence that the campaign was allowed to send a photographer there. They were invited to send a photographer there. There is verifiable evidence that the families of these poor people whose loved ones died three years ago at Abbey Road, excuse me, Abby Gate, these 13 Americans, many of them were there with the president.
He invited him to be there and support them. This is no insult to the memories of their loved ones. They wanted Donald Trump
there. Thank God we have a president who stands with our veterans instead of one who runs away from them. I find it amazing that there is apparently someone at Arlington Cemetery, a staff member, who had a small disagreement with someone, and the media made it a national headline. You know what I think our veterans care more about? That Kamala Harris's vice president lied about his military service.
Arlington National Cemetery confirmed that Trump had violated the law. Vance managed to confuse Abbey Road, where the Beatles recorded albums, with Abbey Gate, where 13 soldiers died while leaving Afghanistan.A These deaths were set in motion Because of Trump's agreement with the Taliban which forced the US out of the country.
The veterans do not care that Trump is using the sacred ground of Arlington National Cemetery for an election campaign stunt, because Trump has consistently disregarded Veterans and those who have served and lost their lives.
JD Vance made matters worse by trying to blame the media for a scandal that Trump had engineered. Vance made sure the Arlington story would not be forgotten so quickly.
