The democratic chairman of House, Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), has pushed back against the Trump/GOP agenda since the first day, but Jeffries went to a new level on Monday.

Last year, everything we heard from my Republican colleagues was the need to do something about the high cost of living, while at the same time they were running away in 2025 as if it did not exist. This year, the Republicans spent all their time to implement the most extreme parts of the 2025 project and the high cost of living, not one thing, not a single bill, not a single idea, not a single proposal from my republican house colleagues to do anything against anything to do the high cost of living in the United States.
Why?
It is a Republican bait and switch. Part two of the Republican bait and the change is that their true goal is to issue massive tax cuts for billionaires and wealthy companies, just as in 2017, when GOP tax fraud was passed where they were set in motion wherever 83 percent of 83 percent of the advantages would go to the richest 1%.
And now my home republicans are, colleagues are back. They go there again. The same plan. Nothing to drive down the high cost of living. Everything is about massive tax cuts for billionaires and wealthy companies. In many cases, if you don't even ask about it. And you certainly don't need the relief that everyday Americans need.
These Americans of the working class need. These bourgeois Americans need. That all those people who are part of the bourgeois necessity. It is a Republican bait and switch.
What is the last element of the Republican bait and switch?
Do these massive tax cuts for billionaires and wealthy companies and are the workers' Americans with the legislation.
The nerves of this group of people who maintained the country all year round, how they would do something to reduce the high cost of living, do nothing against it, plan home republicans, to issue massive tax cuts for their billionaires and then, as a final one Element of the Republican bait and the switch that hold the workers' Americans with the invoice.
House Republicans have no plan to love and appreciate Medicaid. Let us be very clear about it. No plan to love and appreciate Medicaid. Your plan is to destroy social security, destroy medicar and to destroy medicaid as we know it. And now with Republicans who control the house, the Senate and the Presidency, it is your intention to do it.
Just watch what happens at the hearing of the Republican household that is up to be. With regard to what is proposed, the cuts against Medicaid will be devastating. Hospitals will close, including in rural America and urban America and in the core country of America. Nursing homes are closed and everyday Americans, children, seniors.
Those who suffer from disabilities are violated in the context of Republican efforts to earn advantages such as social security and medicar and to destroy medicaid as we know it. It is the Republican bait and the switch. We will continue to expose it to the American people. House democrats don't want to do anything.
And we will do everything in our power to stop it.
The Democrats have to beat this news every day.
Some of the American people were networked. Republicans will do nothing about costs and inflation. Instead, they will take away health care millions of people Or make health care much more expensive.
House Democrats defend themselves and they will make Republicans have their bait and change.
