Elon Musk melts down as Home Republicans present him he has no energy
X boss Elon Musk throws a tantrum on his social media platform as House Republicans advance a government funding bill that he opposes.
Musk posted in part:
Please call your elected officials immediately and tell them how you feel! They are trying to enforce this today while no one is paying attention.
…
In any case, this bill should NOT pass. A new bill that does not constitute an insane crime against the American people should be passed in 33 days.
…
This is crazy! This is NOT a democracy! How can your elected representatives be asked to pass a spending bill that they had no input into and didn't even have enough time to read!!??
Musk has also threatened to give the primary to any Republican who votes for the bill.
Elon Musk has no power
Trump's little buddy realizes he has no real power. The reason the world's richest man is throwing a tantrum is because he really thought he was running the federal government and that he could threaten and yell like Trump
and cause Republicans to buy into his agenda.
All of those spending cuts that Elon Musk apparently spends so much time on aren't going to happen because Congress still has power over the purse strings and he's not going to hand it over to Donald Trump or his little buddies.
Musk doesn't understand the political world and is just beginning to grasp the reality that the seasoned politicians have taken him and his big checkbook for a ride.
DOGE is not a real thing. It has no power. It is a private presidential advisory committee.
All power still lies with Congress, and Republicans in the House and Senate will not hand it over to Elon Musk.
