Democratic-majority polling locations in Georgia are beneath risk
Gwinett County elections director Zach Manifold said there have been threats against polling places in his county, and Fulton County has also received threats.
Video:
Manifold said: “We had an incident just recently. I don't have any additional information yet. I'll share it when we have it. But we had an incident recently.”
A district that was still evacuated at the time of the interview was also evacuated. There were also two unreliable bomb threats against Fulton County, Georgia. Joe Biden
won both Gwinett County and Fulton Counties in 2020 as part of Georgia's narrow transition from red to blue.
The fact that counties with large Democratic voters are being targeted suggests this may be the work of Trump Supporters trying to suppress the vote in Georgia to help Donald Trump.
The state of Georgia is facing a record election in which five million votes will be cast, including 1.2 million on Election Day.
If Donald Trump loses Georgia, it could be very difficult for him to win the presidency. His supporters appear to know this, which raises suspicions that the threats are coming from those who want fewer Democrats to vote.
