Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District went for Obama in 2008 and Biden in 2020. New polls show Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump by 11 points.

The Cornhusker State has long been a Republican presidential stronghold, but its 2nd District has voted for the Democratic nominee twice in recent history, for Obama in 2008 and for Joe Biden
 in 2020.

In Nebraska's 2nd District, the poll shows Harris' wide lead among nearly all Democratic voters with a 96% likelihood, with her numbers bolstered by 61% support among the district's independent likely voters. and 10% among likely Republican voters. She leads Trump60% to 36%, among women, while Trump has a much smaller lead among men, 50% to 45%.
Trump and his allies recently tried to strip the Electoral College vote from the 2nd Congressional District, And given Harris' leadership, it's clear why. The bigger problem for Trump is that Republicans lost the last two elections when the 2nd District went to the Democratic candidate.
The Democratic swings in these districts also reflect the two largest vote gains this century.
The city of Omaha is in the Second District and has moved politically away from the rest of the state, but an 11-point lead is very significant, and as these data points come in now, they could reflect Harris' continued momentum toward winning the White House in November.
