House Republicans are not ready to cut Medicaid and you have added a new destination to your hit list.
The House Republicans also plan to shorten Medicare by the end of the year.
Bloomberg reported:
In an interview with Bloomberg, the chairman of the House Budget Committee, Jodey Arrington, said that the Republicans obtain deeper cuts at Medicaid, new expenses in Medicare and determine all the errors that were inserted into the US Tax Act by the “large, beautiful bill”.
“I think we'll do one ago,” said Arrington. “It will be a more targeted series of reforms.”
The budget chair said that the follow-up laws as an opportunity to secure Medicare spending cuts he was looking for could not win the Trump tax and the spending package. To his goals, he said, reduces the reimbursements of hospitals by a location-neutral payment system that pays the same sentence, regardless of whether a procedure is carried out in a clinic or a doctor's office.
Through “reforms” Arrington means cuts in healthcare. If Medicare is shortened, this would be a death sentence for many rural hospitals.
If you thought that the last reconciliation law that the Republicans said goodbye and signed Trump was the worst, they were wrong.
It is as if it were not enough to take the health care of 17 million Americans, so the Republicans put on the remaining people on Medicaid and come for Medicare.
These cuts could cost republicans their majority, but these are ideologues who are on the mission to destroy the social security network and apparently not stop until all national assets have been distributed to top 1%.
