Trump's record of nations which can be uncovered to mutual tariffs

President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday the “mutual tariff” tariffs of the USA, where more than 180 countries and areas, including members of the European Union, are confronted as part of its extensive new trade policy.

Trump and the White House shared a number of charts on social media, in which the tariffs, of which they say that other countries are available to the United States, contain the alleged interest rates that contain “currency manipulation and trade barriers” of the countries.

An adjacent column shows the new US tariff rates for each country and the European Union.

In most cases, these tariffs are about half of what the Trump administration claims that each country “accused” of the United States

The mutual rates are not necessarily the only US tariffs with which these countries are confronted.

On Wednesday, the White House announced Eamon Javers from CNBC that the new mutual rate for China is added to existing tariffs of 20%, which means that the actual tariff rate for Beijing is 54%as part of this Trump office.

Trump said his plan would set a 10% basic tariff across the board. But as its diagrams make it clear, many countries will be exposed to significantly higher rates.

“We will invoice you about half of what you are and have accused us of,” said Trump in an announcement in the rose garden in the White House.

“So the tariffs will not be a complete object,” he said.

But this halved number includes “the combined rate of all tariffs, non -monetary barriers and other forms of fraud,” he said.
