Donald Trump is corrupt. His more than three dozen convictions for crimes are proof of this. Trump has a lifelong track record of corrupt behavior.
Some people thought that the sense of Trump's administration was authoritarianism. Some people thought that the point was fascism, but the real purpose of Trump's government has become clear for a week in his tenure.
The most obvious answer is often the right one, and the obvious answer to Trump is corruption.
