Cory Booker will get a promotion to Senate management
Senate Democrats have created new leadership, appointing Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) to lead the strategic message.
Senator Booker said at a press conference introducing the new Senate Democratic leadership team:
It was incredible. I have worked with him for the last four years and have been involved in many of the important works of this group. We have had an extraordinary four successful years with Joe Biden
as president and Chuck Schumer as Senate leader.
He's a modern LBJ, just based on what we were able to deliver. He and I had discussions last year and it is extraordinary that he invited me to be part of the leadership and that he trusts me in a new role. So I want to express my gratitude to him and to my fellow caucus members who, through shouting out, recognized that I can play a role, and I look forward to serving not just this caucus, but really the larger mission of moving our country forward and advancing an agenda This really focuses on the Americans and their agenda.

Booker's promotion is well-deserved. He is the perfect person to lead Senate Democrats' strategic messaging.
Booker is one of the senators who has remained authentic to who he is. Senator Booker still sounds like the guy who shoveled voters' sidewalks as mayor of Newark, New Jersey. Senate Democrats need someone who can communicate clearly and differentiate them from Republicans and the Trump agenda.
Given the results of the 2024 election, Democrats have overperformed in the Senate, and Cory Booker will be responsible for crafting the message to return Democrats to the majority.
