Trump was already on the finish of his energy earlier than the newest incident
Trump's campaign is unsuccessful and unable to stop Vice President Harris's victory march. The former president suffered a nervous breakdown before playing golf and someone else allegedly tried to shoot him.
Before Trump played golf, he posted on Truth Social:
To all the rich, job-creating people who support Comrade Kamala Harris, you are STUPID. She is calling for an UNREALIZED CAPITAL GAINS TAX. If this tax is actually passed, a 1929-like depression is guaranteed. Perhaps the very thought of it would lead to disaster – but at least appraisers and accountants would benefit!

THE FAILING NEW YORK TIMES IS A REAL THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!
Remember when the commercial media spent the 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns telling the American people that Trump
was a master strategist and his behavior was part of a larger master plan?
In 2024, we all know that Trump is a mentally unstable old man, a convicted felon who has proven capable of inciting acts of violence against the nation.
The fact that someone else allegedly tried to shoot Donald Trump does not change these facts. The threat level for Vice President Harris is also very high, so it is not just about the ex-president, but Trump does not seem to have been in a good mental state before the latest incident.
Trump's immediate response was a very toned-down post on Truth Social, which he may not have posted:
I want to thank everyone for their concern and well wishes – it has been a truly interesting day! Most of all, I want to thank the US Secret Service, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and his office of brave and dedicated patriots, and all law enforcement for the incredible job they did today at Trump International to keep me SAFE as the 45th President of the United States and Republican candidate in the upcoming Presidential election. THE JOB WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. I AM VERY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!
There are two possibilities. Either Trump gets scared and tones down his rhetoric for a while. I don't think he has the impulse control to keep that up for long, or he continues to add fuel to the fire and put himself and others in danger.
