Harris marketing campaign criticizes felony Trump for his promise to finish democracy

When former President Trump told a Christian group on Friday night that if they voted in November, they would not have to vote again, the Harris campaign team sharply criticized Trump.

Trump said: “You have to go out and vote. You don't have to do that anymore. In four years everything will be settled, then everything will be fine. You don't have to vote anymore. In four years you don't have to vote anymore.”

The Harris campaign team responded through spokesman James Singer: “When Vice President Harris says this election is about freedom, she means it. Our democracy is under attack by the criminal Donald Trump: After the last election, which Trump lost, he sent a mob to overturn the result. In this campaign, he has promised violence if he loses, the end of our elections if he wins, and the repeal of the Constitution to make him a dictator who can impose his dangerous Project 2025 agenda on America. Donald Trump wants to take America back to a politics of hate, chaos, and fear – this November, America will unite around Vice President Kamala Harris to stop him.”

Trump is a criminal who wants to end democracy. There is no debate about that. Donald Trump does not hide it. He says it out loud. The former president promises his supporters that if they go to the polls in November and vote for him, they will no longer have to vote.

Trump didn't say they didn't have to vote for him. He apparently meant “election season,” in the sense that he will take care of that tedious chore called voting and make sure we never have to do it again.

The former president shows his contempt for democracy by refusing to debate people younger than him and by claiming that elections he does not win are rigged.

Trump is not just a criminal. He is the enemy of American democracy.
