Alyssa Milano pays tribute to her 'Charmed' co-star Shannen Doherty after years of feud

After the actress died of breast cancer on July 13 at the age of 53, Holly Marie Combs paid meaningful tribute to her late friend – and acknowledged Shannen’s sense of humor.
“A week has passed and it feels like an eternity,” Holly captioned a July 21 Instagram post that showed a video montage of images of the Heathers star. “I've been looking for one particular picture all day and found almost every picture except this one.”
She then joked, “Shannen promised to haunt me, but I thought she was busy with a few other things first. Unfortunately, I'm sure it will show up when and where I least expect it. My rock.”
The next day, the former Pretty Little Liars actress reflected on the most difficult aspect of her friend's death.
“I think she did as much as she could in the time she had, but we thought we had more time,” Holly tearfully recounted on the July 22 episode of the Charmed rewatch podcast “House of Halliwell.” “And that's the really sad part. We had big, big plans for this year. And she didn't think she was going anywhere anytime soon.”
