Financial institution of America buyer says she transferred a whole bunch of {dollars} from her account earlier than being notified of a system failure – claims can’t be discovered (unique)
On Friday, Bank of America experienced a downtime that made thousands of customers uncomfortable.
We spoke exclusively to a Bank of America customer. The Nashville resident tells us she hasn’t been able to use her debit card since 7 a.m. this morning.
The customer is said to be available again within 90 minutes and says that she still can’t use her card after almost 8 hours.
“The representative told me they told her 90 minutes at 7am[.] It’s all day now. She said, ‘Sorry, there is nothing left’ to tell me.
The client didn’t realize there was an outage until she tried to transfer $ 700 from her Wells Fargo account using the cell app. But the money was never deposited into her Bank of America account.
“So I transferred money from my Wells Fargo because I thought I was crazy, I did it through cell.” She continued, “My 700 is out there right now. For example, not in my Fargo Bank in Wells, nor has the BOA made it. “
She was reportedly told the funds “may” return to her Wells Fargo account once things are cleared up.
At this time, she can’t use her debit card or the cell app.
She also says she didn’t receive an email about the outage. But some have tweeted a notice from the website saying they are “aware” of the issues and are working to “improve the situation as soon as possible”.
The people on Twitter have repeated the same frustration. Someone wrote, “Not the Bank of America app is not working and told me I don’t have an account.”
Another person said, “Bank of America app will not work on the day all bills are due.”
Roommate, what do you think of that?
