Actress Kathryn Prescott hospitalized in intensive care after being hit by a truck

actress Kathryn Prescott is lucky enough to be alive after being hit by a vehicle in New York City.

On Thursday, September 8th, the star’s twin sister, Megan Prescott, shared in an Instagram message that Kathryn, best known for skins and the title role in MTV’s Finding Carter, is currently hospitalized in intensive care after being hit by a concrete truck while crossing the street on Wednesday, September 7th .

“After struggling through complex surgery, some of Kathryn’s injuries are: broken pelvis in two places, both legs, her foot, and her left hand,” wrote Megan. “She narrowly escaped paralysis. Doctors are hoping for a full recovery, but this will only be possible now with proper care.”

She stated that London-born Kathryn, 30) is currently in NYC with no family members to support her, and Megan was hoping to fly to the States to visit her sister, but the U.S. embassy declined her request on Nov.
