The Household Of Ashli Babbitt Is Making ready A $10 Million Wrongful Dying Go well with

The family of Ashli Babbitt is pursuing legal action against the U.S. Capitol Police due to her death. If you recall, Ashli, who was a California resident, Air Force veteran, and violent Trump supporter, was shot dead and killed by a Capitol Police officer after participating in the  U.S. Capitol riot on Jan 6th. According to Fox News, Ashli’s family has obtained Terry Roberts to file a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit against the Capitol Police and the officer.

Terry, specializing in police misconduct cases, believes the officer didn’t give Ashli verbal warnings before being fired and ambushed her. Terry further stated, “It’s not debatable. There was no warning. I would call what he did an ambush. I don’t think he’s a good officer. I think he’s reckless.” At this time, the identity of the officer who shot Ashli still hasn’t been identified. Still, as we reported in January following her death, the officer was placed on administrative leave.

Once news broke, Ashli’s name quickly trended on Twitter due to folks disagreeing that she was ambushed. One Twitter user wrote, “Ashli Babbitt’s family is filing a wrongful death suit for $10M saying she was ambushed. How the f**k do you get ambushed when you break into the Capitol with a group of terrorists and then try to jump through a busted-out window to get at members of Congress? WTF!”

Another user tweeted, “I don’t understand how Ashli Babbitt could be ambushed while climbing through a shattered glass window to attempt to attack the officer who “ambushed” her. But I’m neither a physics expert nor an insurrectionist, so maybe I’m missing it. She had a choice. She chose poorly.”

Roommates, we will keep you updated on this case as more info becomes available.
