According to the outlet, Paul Barrett “Bear” Walker was born on April 30 weighing 7 pounds and 4 ounces.

Just a day after the baby was born, the couple named the boy after Cody’s brother, the late actor Paul Walker. He said it was important to him to continue the name.

He added that the name “Paul Walker” has been in their family for four generations.

“Within the family he was called ‘little Paul’ or ‘Paul 4’, although he quickly outgrew our father in height. It was important to me that this name was continued.”

Cody and Felicia reportedly didn’t want to know the baby’s sex until the birth. They had done the same with their other two children.

Cody, who lives in Arizona with his family, commemorated the moment of his son’s birth on almost the 10th anniversary of Paul Walker’s death, he told PEOPLE.

“This November marks the 10th anniversary of my brother Paul’s death and I just felt like the time was right,” Cody said.

He also explained that he and Paul’s other brother, Caleb, are now tired of having children.

Meanwhile, former Fast & Furious co-stars Tyrese Gibson and Chris Lee are honoring the late actor with the FuelFest.

Portions of the proceeds from the Auto and Motorsport Festival go directly to Reach Out WorldWide, a non-profit organization that Paul founded in January 2010.

Cody calls the organization an important “part of Paul that he left behind.”

“It’s important for so many to see that part of his legacy live on,” he told PEOPLE. “Since Paul’s death, ROWW has continued to serve communities in natural disaster areas in 13 countries, with over 79 outreaches and over 63,000 volunteer hours.”

As a passenger in a speeding car, Paul died in a single-vehicle collision on November 30, 2013. His father and daughter have since filed separate wrongful death lawsuits against Porsche, which resulted in a settlement.
