Nicki Minaj continues to let the internet go crazy. On the night of the Met Gala, she posted a series of tweets about the COVID-19 vaccination, and those tweets found their way to several news outlets. The controversial tweets got Nicki shouting people left and right, and today she went live on Instagram to get a few things off her chest. She announced that she is in Twitter jail in Trinidad following the tweets about her cousin’s alleged reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine.
Although viewers couldn’t see her face on the live stream, they could definitely hear her voice. She started bringing up Twitter and saying that she would never return to the platform because it felt a little scary. Nicki recalls, “I remember when I was a little girl and I was taken to church. Sometimes people in church would tell us, “Be glad you can freely praise God because some people in so many countries in the world cannot praise the God they want to praise.”
When she went on to explain, she said that the experience motivated her to go to church because some people don’t get this luxury. As she continued, she switched to the subject of vaccines. Nicki mentioned that people should be able to ask questions about anything that is put into their bodies. The “Queen” claimed that we live in a time when people turn their backs on you because you disagree with your thoughts and views, and people will isolate you if you just speak and ask a question.
Nicki apparently spoke to MSNBC commentator Joy-Ann-Reid about the situation. She called Nicki when she shared news that his cousin in Trinidad allegedly became impotent after taking the COVID-19 vaccine. “I see black women on Twitter. Black women I follow pretend it’s funny, ”said Nicki. Before ending life, she said she would not reveal any facts about the vaccine and reiterated that she did not want to travel with her young child, Papa Bear. Nicki’s Twitter is currently still active.
