Let Michael Keaton’s electronic mail mistake with Bradley Cooper be a lesson

Michael Keaton Learned this lesson the hard way after an accidental (but funny) correspondence with Bradley Cooper.

On the Aug. 25 episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, Keaton stated that he has a home in Montana, where he regularly rides horses. One day he decided to get a custom, handcrafted saddle and contacted a saddler named Cash cooper. After visiting a store, the two started writing emails to discuss details.

“It goes into the details,” explained Keaton. “It’s getting pretty esoteric, you know, unless you know what you’re talking about.”

The Birdman alum sent messages on everything from stirrups to saddle horns. But it wasn’t long before he realized something was wrong with their exchange.

“He replied and then there are these loopholes and I wouldn’t hear from him,” Keaton continued. “And I’d say, ‘Hey, how are you? I’m getting in touch. You know, we talked about the engraving below. Keep it simple.'”

The answer? “‘Yes. Okay. Ha! Ha!'”
