CNN’s Chris Cuomo addresses Brother Andrew’s resignation amid scandal

On Monday, August 16, Chris spoke during his Cuomo Primetime show and offered a message to viewers who “feel very hurt and a lot of pain” according to USA Today amid Andrew’s sexual harassment allegation scandal.
“I’m not a consultant. I’m a brother,” said the 51-year-old journalist, according to the publication. “I was there to listen and give my opinion. And my advice to my brother was simple and consistent: Confess what you’ve done. Tell people what you can do to get better. Be contrite And finally, accept that it doesn’t matter what you intended. What matters is how your actions and words were perceived. ”
Chris went on to say that he “has never influenced or tried to control CNN’s reporting,” USA Today reported. “Being a politician’s brother and being part of the media in a scandal was a unique situation. I was trying to do the right thing and I just want you all to know.”
