Twitter creates a customized “GOAT” emoji for Simone Biles – making her the primary Olympian to ever obtain one

Roommates, after waiting what feels like an eternity, fans can finally see Simone Biles at the Tokyo Olympics – and to celebrate her as a GOAT, Twitter created a special emoji in her honor. That means Simone Biles will now be the first Olympian to receive her own emoji as the Olympics officially begin!

As the world gathers to see record-breaking, multi-award-winning gymnast Simone Biles step up her performance during the Tokyo Olympics, popular social media platform Twitter decided to do her the ultimate honor and take her off Distinguish rest of the Olympians.

During the Tokyo Olympics, every time someone tweets #Simone or #SimoneBiles, their very own emoji appears … and it’s nothing more than a goat in a jersey that perfectly honors Simone’s GOAT status as the world’s greatest athlete.

In regards to giving Simone her own emoji, Twitter stated that the honor is intended to recognize Biles’ “legacy, accomplishments, and epic use of the platform.”

Twitter also revealed that Simone was the second most talked-about Olympic athlete on social media so far this year, behind only Japanese swimmer Rikako Ikee.

After making history again at the US Gymnastics Championships, Simone Biles will deliver a historic performance at the Tokyo Olympics. During her final training sessions, she absolutely nailed her signature double-pike move on the balance beam, which was considered so difficult and dangerous that other gymnasts are not allowed to try.
