Before he did community service with Alexis on Schitt’s Creek or worked as a gunslinger on Wynonna Earp, Tim Rozon broke hearts as Tommy Q on Instant Star.
For those who haven’t seen this Canadian musical comedy in the early 00s, Instant Star followed teen singing contest winner Jude Harrison (Alexz Johnson) when she became famous overnight and started working on her album. Enter Rozon as a former boybander turned producer who falls in love with Jude.
The series was a hit on The N, which also featured Degrassi: The Next Generation and South of Nowhere. And like Rozon exclusively to E! News, he likes to look back on his time at Instant Star. “I loved this show,” he enthused. “I’ve been very fortunate throughout my career that it looks like every show I go to is a great group of people.”
As he went on, Rozon said he was proud to have been a supporting actor for so many incredible women, including Johnson.
