Tim Anderson has recently spoken openly about his public marital shortcomings, including cheating on his wife, Bria Andersonand a child bear witness Deja Lanee.
While speaking on The Pivot podcast, the Major League Baseball (MLB) player revealed how he and his wife dealt with his indiscretions.
“We went to therapy. I’m just really trying to figure out what it was that made me want to go into those spaces or even into that space to create that in the first place. It’s a difficult conversation, it’s a difficult situation. I feel like we put a lot of work into understanding it and showing my love to my wife and kids. But it’s something I’m still going through and trying to master to get to the point where I’m comfortable walking in it and stepping in it with 1000 percent confidence.”
Earlier this year, Tim confirmed he had given birth to a son named Sevene with Dejah by posting photos of him on Instagram. But Dejah herself had announced the new baby news in June 2022, when she captioned a video of Anderson in a car, “Baby Father.”
A few days before Bria’s birthday in May, Dejah Lanee came online. She posted photos and videos of an apparent relationship between her and Tim Anderson.
This comes after Bria shared a selfie video of Tim planting a kiss on her cheek while Dejah left emoji love in several year old posts on Tim’s Instagram.
Shortly after, someone posted posts from Dejah’s “close friends” list on IG, including two photos of her and the booed Tim. She also accused “that lady,” meaning Bria, of “posting old photos to get her.” [her] dragged.”

The subliminal online exchange escalated after gossip blog @igmodeltearoom shared a direct message with Bria Anderson. In it, she allegedly called Dejah a “liar” and a “known side girl.” Dejah Lanee went out after the screenshot made the rounds. She posted photos and videos of Tim with her, their son and even with Dejah’s son from a previous relationship.
In her posts, she claimed Tim Anderson told her his marriage to Bria was “for image” and that he hadn’t dated Bria. She also said their alleged relationship didn’t exude a “sneaky” or “side chick” vibe. She followed with shots of her and Tim on the plane, in cars, at a restaurant, in homes and in bathroom selfies.

During the episode of “The Pivot,” the father-of-three also opened up about why he hasn’t fully detailed his marital situation online.
He also wrote, after sharing photos of his son in February, “Not everyone needs to know everything, nobody really needs to know everything.” He echoed those sentiments in his recent interview.
“I never really wanted to play the internet game, and I never did. I always wanted to stay in the real phase of my work and just tried to deal with it as best as possible. I tend to keep people out of business because nobody really ever understood what I was going through making those decisions, or where my heart was, or what was going through my mind, or how hurt I was, or how lonely I felt . But ultimately, the goal was never to play with other people’s feelings. Rather, I was just trying to figure out who I am, move on, and identify myself.”

After Dejah Lanee presented “receipts” in May, Bria released a statement while Tim remained silent on the internet.
“Moment of authenticity – I know we’re all on social media, but there’s a difference between the internet and real life. In REAL life I am a mother and a WIFE who cares about my FAMILY more than anything. My truth is that my husband and I are working on our marriage and I have no interest in the internet games. I ask everyone to respect my family’s privacy. Xo, Mrs. Anderson”
But days after the viral exchange, he took to Instagram to wish Bria a happy birthday, calling their marriage “true love in life.”
Anderson says he will “always be there for his son with Dejah Lanee.”
Tim Anderson says that’s the plan to be an active father in Seven’s life. He told Pivot moderators that despite public perception or opinion, he will be there.
“This is my son. You know I’ve never denied it once. I’ll always be content with what’s mine. It goes back to when I was a kid. My dad, I know how it feels like not having your dad around so 1000 percent i have been there, been there, will always be there and will always do what is right for my kids because this is mine regardless of what anyone says or however he came.”
