While he’s physically no longer with his loved ones, Prince PhilipThe legacy lives on.

After his death on April 9, the late Duke of Edinburgh passed away two months before his 100th birthday. To commemorate the precious occasion, an Instagram post dated June 10th revealed that the Royal Horticultural Society was a gifted patron Queen Elizabeth the second a Duke of Edinburgh rose to Philip’s name last week. To make matters even more touching, the rose was planted in Windsor Castle’s East Terrace Garden to keep it close for the Queen.

But that’s not all. For every rose sold by the Duke of Edinburgh, his Award Living Legacy Fund will also be donated.

“Today we’re taking a moment to celebrate the 100th birthday of our founder and patron, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh,” the charity said on Instagram. “The Duke has been dedicated and passionate about the DofE and leaves an incredible legacy in giving young people the confidence, skills and resilience to make a real difference for themselves and the world.
