The black nationwide anthem “Elevate Ev’ry Voice And Sing” is alleged to be performed earlier than each NFL recreation

# Roommate, last summer several companies and organizations pledged to get involved and do their part to bring racial equality and diversity to the fore – and one of those organizations was the NFL. To keep its promise, the NFL recently announced that the black national anthem “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing” will be played before every game in the 2021 season.

@NYTimes reports that as part of its 10-year pledge of $ 250 million to fight racism in America, the NFL decided to “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing” (aka the Black National Anthem) before every NFL game ) to play this season, including playoff games. At the most recent season opener earlier this month, NFL players stood with their arms crossed while Alicia Keys and the Florida A&M Choir performed the song.

In addition, games not only play “Lift Ev’ry” Voice And Sing, but players are also allowed to wear stickers with one of six pre-approved social justice messages on their helmets. In the meantime, the NFL will continue to use the slogans “It Takes All of Us” and “End Rassism” in the end zones as an ongoing sign of solidarity with movements to combat racism and police brutality.

You will recall that last year after the social unrest in response to the murder of George Floyd by convicted killer Derek Chauvin, the NFL began playing the song on television before all games.

As expected, however, several conservatives have used social media to voice their outrage over the black national anthem, which continues to be played at all NFL games.
