Come on Barbies, let’s party!
The countdown to summer is officially on after Warner Bros. released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Barbie movie on April 4th.
Right from the start, fans are transported to a dream house where Ken (Ryan Gosling) and Barbie (Margot Robbie) live a life only some Mattel toys can dream of. Before you know it, sparks begin to fly when Ken asks his crush to spend some time together.
“I thought maybe I’d stay tonight,” he says, “because we’re a friend, a friend.”
While the trailer doesn’t reveal too much about upcoming storylines, the preview shows Ken and Barbie making their way into the real world, where they’ll have to grapple with the difficulties of not being just dolls anymore.
While Barbie is the true star of the film, fans couldn’t help but notice all the special guests stopping by to experience the magical world of Barbie Land.
