Republicans facet with COVID and plan to sue Biden over masks

Republicans are campaigning for the coronavirus and planning to sue President Biden over his order to wear masks.

Politico reported:

“Definitely expect lawsuits from our state, private lawsuits,” Brendan Steinhauser, a Texas-based GOP strategist and former campaign manager, told Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas.

….

Against the scientific consensus, Florida State Representative Anthony Sabatini, who has filed more than a dozen local lawsuits to combat mask mandates in counties across the state, challenged the notion that masks actually reduce the spread of the virus. He pointed to California, where compliance is high, even though Covid-19 cases have soared. He also insisted that there was no practical reason for this, as most federal properties already need masks and consider Biden’s move to be political.

Biden named mask that wears a patriotic act. If so, the Republican position should remain the anti-America party. One does not have the personal freedom to make others sick or kill others by refusing to wear a mask. A person who does not wear a mask violates the personal freedom of others.

Donald Trump is gone, but nothing has changed within the Republican Party. Republicans will not change their minds and work for the good of the country.

Republicans continue to stand up for COVID, and that means Democratic scrutiny of the House and Senate will play an important role in fighting the pandemic.
