Meta goals at “lots of of hundreds of thousands” of corporations for brokers -KI
Meta platforms One of the US tech giants who lead to the race is to invest in generative AI and the basic major language models on which the AI breakthroughs rely on, and it has also followed an open source approach for their AI development, so that the technical innovations can be widespread.
These innovations occur quickly. “Not only every day. It develops several times a day,” says Clara Shih, head of the managing director at Meta.
The LLMS -LLMS that developers are available around the world have been downloaded over 800 million times. At the beginning of this week, Chris Cox, Chief Product Officer from Meta said that the upcoming open source lama 4-KI will help the electricity supply brokers, will help the latest trend in the generative AI.
The AI agents do not only respond to input requests. You will be able to enable a new measure of argument and measures – surf the Internet and do many tasks that could be useful for consumers and companies. And here Shih comes into play. According to ShiH, METAS AI is already used by over 700 million consumers, and their task is to bring the same technologies for companies.
“Not every company, especially small companies, has the option of hiring these large AI teams, and now we are building business AIS for these small companies so that they can benefit from all these innovations,” she told the Julia Boorstin of CNBC in an interview for the CNBC Changemakers Spotlight series.
She expects the admission of companies to take place soon and spread far and wide.
“We quickly come to a place where every company, from very large to very small, have a business agent who represents it and acts in his name -the way in which companies have websites and e -mail addresses today,” said Shih.
While large companies in all areas of the economy invest millions of dollars in the development of customers and “do unusual things like fine -tuned models”, as Shih put it, “when they are a small company, they have a café, they have a jewelry business online.
For both consumers and for companies, the effects of the progress in everyday life discussed by Cox and Shih will be important.
For consumers, Shih says: “Your AI assistant [will] Do all sorts of things, from researching products to the planning of travel, plan social excursions with your friends. “
Rival Openaai recently introduced its operators KI for tasks such as travel planning.
On the business side, Shih referred to the 200 million small companies around the world that already use Meta services and platforms. “You use WhatsApp, you use Facebook, you use Instagram, both to take over customers, but also to engage and deepen each of these relationships. Very soon each of these companies will have these AIS that you can represent and help to automate redundant tasks in your voice, to help you find more customers and almost like a concierge service for any of your customers, 24/7.”
The more AI does, the fewer people have to do at least in traditional definitions of roles. Shih says everyone has to prepare for the changes that will come. “There is not a single job that has not been completely changed by the Internet, mobile devices and social media. I think we are now with AI at the same time when it is clear that there are certain professions in which AI will change the job considerably. But my prediction is that the AI will change every work in every industry,” she said to Boorstin.
Your advice for each individual and every company is “learning, experimenting, understanding and almost define what it is [AI transformation] Could look like their special job. “
“Just like in 1990, we had to learn e -mails, we had to learn the search. I think everyone has to learn about where they have or want to learn,” regardless of where they live, “she said.
The good news? According to Shih, AI makes learning easier. “You can speak with it. You can literally speak to him.”
She did it herself. “Something that I often do is when there is long research, AI research work or developments, you can ask AI.
