Meghan Markle told of her harrowing experience within the royal family while sitting with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday March 8th. Despite all the bumps on the road, she said her fairy tale has a happy ending after escaping with her Prince Charming.
She even revealed a delightful chapter in her love story Prince Harry that the couple had never shared before. During the CBS special, Meghan dropped the news that “we got married” on TV on May 19, 2018 three days before their wedding.
“We called the archbishop and just said, ‘Look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world, but we want our union between us,'” she said. “The vows we made in our room are just the two of us in our back yard with the Archbishop of Canterbury.” Harry stepped in to confirm it was “just the three of us”.
