#Roommate, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Sierra Gates is no stranger to sharing the ups and downs of her life with her fans, and after a recent chaotic breakup, she has moved on with a new love … and now one brand new home! Sierra gave us an exclusive first look at the lavish 8,000 square foot home she and her boyfriend Eric Whitehead just bought in Atlanta.

While Sierra and Eric have not yet shared the full view of their new 7 bedroom, 8 bathroom home, they have given us some details on what to expect when it is fully revealed. When discussing how to fuse their design styles in their new mansion, Sierra explained that she was letting her boo Eric take the lead.

“The craziest thing about it is that I’m the simple one in this home decorating situation. All I need is a bed, a couch and a place to make some money. He’s got a lot of ideas so I’ll just let him do his thing … He’s definitely taking the lead. This is Eric’s third house, and his New York house is so nicely decorated and so comfortable. Because of his house in New York, I let him take over because baby, I just need my Sade, my candles and the pool, ”she said.

Sierra also explained the lengthy and stressful process of housing hunting for the two of them. She explained, “We’ve been looking for our house for months and it’s been a crazy process. The house we wanted suddenly went under contract, then the contract was broken and we could buy the house. It took a lot of patience, but we knew this would not be an easy decision. It was long in the end, but the process was worth it. This is my first home so I wouldn’t change anything we went through. “

Now that they officially have their new love nest, we needed to find out about the status of their relationship – especially how Sierra knew Eric was the right one and whether we can expect engagement or wedding bells in the future. She told TSR, “Eric and I met when he was delivering my new Bentley truck from his dealership. From the moment I met him, it was an instant connection. He was so observant and had such a strong personality that I was instantly drawn to him, no lie. I remember a moment when he picked me up to sit in my car for a photo and I was like BOO BOO, this one! “
