Jim Jordan’s 2nd Arming Authorities Listening to was a fair larger catastrophe
Rep. Jim Jordan tried again with his arming of the government subcommittee, and it was even worse than the first time,
Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) got Jordan to immediately admit that he would use information in the hearing that Democrats could not verify:
Rep. Plaskett begins by asking Jim Jordan if he intends to use information during today’s hearing that Democrats have not been able to verify. Jordan states that he plans to. pic.twitter.com/BcWKsFCwk1

One of the easiest ways to tell if someone has terrible evidence is to not share it with members of the other party’s committee.

Plaskett later challenged Jordan to his quid pro quo with Elon Musk:
Plasquet to Jim Jordan: “Americans can see through this. Musk helps you politically, and you do everything you can to promote, protect, and praise him.” She then adds, “There are many legitimate questions about where Musk got the funding to buy Twitter.” pic.twitter .com/jRsjIoJKkt

Plaskett said, “Americans can see through this. Musk supports you politically, and you do everything to promote, protect and praise him.”
Jordan quickly lost his temper and started yelling at Plaskett, who immediately returned it to him:

The witnesses, particularly Matt Taibi, imploded under Democratic questioning:
WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Journalists should avoid accepting spoon-fed, raisin-picked information when it’s likely to be weird, would you agree?
TAIBBI: I think it depends
WS: Really? *plays a clip of Taibbi basically agreeing with the premise of her question about Rogan’s pod* pic.twitter.com/LWAKg4ogG1

The hearing lasted nearly three hours, during which Jordan and Republican members claimed there was a conspiracy against conservatives on social media, while Democrats countered with facts and reality and witnesses tasked with pushing Jordan’s case were pushed in the face.
Jim Jordan has shown himself to be totally incompetent when it comes to oversight and conducting hearings.
Republicans are concerned that Jordan’s ineptitude at these hearings will make them look like idiots. Somehow each new hearing is worse than the previous one.
One of the biggest revelations by the majority of the House of Representatives is that Jim Jordan is incompetent. Not only is Rep. Jordan a deeply partisan fare for Donald Trump, and Jordan is really bad at his job.
House Democrats circle around Jordan and his Republicans at these hearings. It looks like Jordan is overwhelmed, and his arming of government hearings is helping Democrats.
