In the statement to Deadline, the rep expressed the family’s appreciation for those caring for Renner and for the fans sending their well wishes.
“Jeremy’s family would like to say thank you to the incredible doctors and nurses caring for him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, the Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve, and the Carano and Murdock families,” he noted Speaker. “They are also enormously overwhelmed and grateful for the love and support from his fans.”
One of those messages of support came from his Avengers co-star Markus Ruffalo.
“Prayers for our brother @jeremyrenner for a full and speedy recovery,” the 55-year-old actor wrote on Instagram Stories on Jan. 2. “Please send healing kindness to him.”
