Hannity Metropolis Corridor catastrophe reveals Jack Smith broke Trump

At Trump’s Fox News Town Hall in Iowa, Sean Hannity guided Trump through all of his talking points, at times making arguments for him, as the event centered on questions about Trump’s ability to be president.

At times, Hannity set Trump in a trap and watched the former president go completely off course:

Hannity: It doesn’t seem to bother you (the DOJ 1/6 target letter).

Trump: It bothers me.

Hannity had to correct Trump when he messed up his Biden plots:

Hannity dedicated several sections to cocaine found in the White House. In each of them, Hannity delivered a monologue, holding Trump’s hand, and the former president responded:

It’s fair to ask if the real reason for this is that Trump is refusing to appear in Republican primary debates is that he may not be able to keep up with the other contestants on stage.

The Donald Trump who spoke to Sean Hannity was the same person who was the 2016 candidate, or even the same guy which rolled through Kaitlin Collins on CNN a few months ago.

The lies were there. The fantasies were there, but the energy was lacking at Trump’s Iowa City Hall on Hannity.

The only thing that has changed is that Trump was charged federally in the classified documents case and appears to face federal charges again in Jack Smith’s 1/6 investigation.

Special Counsel Jack Smith broke Trump. The energy of the former president is gone. Trump soaked up the crowd’s enthusiastic cheers like an oldie act thrown back in time to its earlier glory days.

Donald Trump no longer has it. He suffers from the burden of 71 crimes.

It speaks volumes for Ron DeSantis and other Republican presidential candidates that Trump, even in his current weakened state, is still lapping the 2024 Republican field.

It was kind of weird watching Sean Hannity lead Trump through City Hall. Republicans are trying to make Biden’s age an issue, but the problem they’re trying to hide is that Donald Trump appears unfit and unwell in his third run for the White House.
