Choose permits Republicans to look at ballots for the fourth time in Fulton County, Georgia

A judge allowed Trump-supporting plaintiffs to review the postal vote in Fulton County, GA. This is the fourth time Georgia’s 2020 ballot papers have been recounted.

CNN reported:

Another ballot audit is due to be conducted in Georgia’s most populous county after a judge ruled Friday that postal ballot papers could be unsealed for parties they want to investigate for evidence of fraud.

Fulton County’s absentee ballot review, which is not due to begin until the judge reviews exam conditions, comes as Conservatives have called for electoral reviews in a number of states following the loss of former President Donald Trump in November. The baseless belief that there was widespread fraud has persisted among some Republicans despite the lack of evidence.

The Georgia audit takes place under judicial supervision. So don’t expect it to resemble the Arizona circus.

Republicans run the risk of losing future elections because they can’t stop litigating the past.

The GOP is also looking for anything that gives credibility to its voter suppression laws.

It is dangerous for democracy that Republicans continue to seek to discredit and undermine an election they lost.

Republicans didn’t listen when voters spoke in 2020, so they need to speak louder in 2022 and 2024.
