Chase Financial institution unintentionally deposits $ 50 billion into a pair’s account – says it was a glitch

Chase Bank only spends such billions?

Another report surfaced online in less than a week in which Chase Bank is depositing billions into an account.

According to Fox 11 LA, a couple in Baton Rouge, Louisiana received $ 50 billion. Darren James stated that $ 50 billion was deposited into his wife’s account earlier this month and they were surprised.

In an interview he said, “I asked, ‘Where did this come from?’” He went on, “And all we thought was who was going to knock on our door … because we don’t know anyone who has that kind of money to start.”

When the couple realized there was a problem, they contacted Chase Bank.

“We knew it wasn’t ours. We didn’t deserve it, so we couldn’t do anything with it, ”he continued.

After four days, Chase corrected the problem and stated that there was a technical error. “We had a technical error over a week ago that affected a limited number of accounts,” a company spokesman said in a statement to FOX Television Stations on Monday. “The problem has been resolved and these accounts are now showing accurate balances.”

As previously reported, Chase Bank has reportedly deposited nearly $ 1 billion into an account and has had trouble returning the money.

Julia Yonkowski reportedly wanted to withdraw $ 20 from her local Chase Bank. Before attempting the withdrawal, she checked her balance and found she had $ 1 billion on shelves. Someone apparently deposited $ 999,985,855.94 into their account.

While most people would probably have been excited, Julia said she was horrified. “Oh my god, I was horrified. I know most people would think they won the lottery, but I was horrified, ”she said.

Julia insists that she doesn’t have to pay back the money because it isn’t hers. “I know I read stories about people who took or withdrew the money and then they had to pay it back and I wouldn’t do that anyway because it’s not my money,” she said.

She also stated that since the money was deposited into her account, she had tried to contact the branch to return the money but had not received any help.
