Ben Affleck is Jennifer Lopez’s greatest fan on World Citizen Stay
TO UPDATE: As it turns out, Ben Affleck even more goodwill created with Jennifer Lopez having recently attended her last concert.
A source says E! News that Ben “really wanted to be there” to see J.Lo at the Global Citizen Live event in New York City on Saturday, September 25, and that the Hustlers star appreciated him for making it possible.
“She worked hard and it meant a lot to her to have him with her,” said the insider. “She was excited to spend the weekend with him. They went to dinner after the show and had fun.”
The insider points out that the couple should “soak up every last minute” together before heading to different locations for work in the coming week. Ben will soon be settling in Austin while Jen is settling in Vancouver.
“They had a great time and loved spending the weekend together,” the person continued. “They’ll make every effort to come out and support the other. Ben has been very impressed with Jennifer’s show and loves to watch her perform.”
Ben Affleck is really the biggest Jennifer Lopez fan.
On Saturday, September 25, the actor was on hand to support his girlfriend at the Global Citizen Live event in New York City, which was her first appearance since their revived romance was confirmed.
The singer played songs like her hit “Jenny From the Block” – Ben played in the 2002 music video, as well as “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny” Yes rule and “All I have” with LL Cool J. Backstage, Jennifer, 52, and Ben, 49, were seen hugging and holding hands.
A day later, the two of them were seen smiling and walking together in a park in the city.
J.Lo last played music at the VAX Live event in Los Angeles on May 2nd, where Ben performed separately on stage. After that concert, the two went on vacation to Montana together, fueling rumors of a revived romance. The couple, who dated in the early ’00s and were engaged before they split in 2004, confirmed they are officially back together in July with a sizzling photo on J.Lo’s Instagram, taken while on a trip to the south of France.
