Now Apple is giving its customers another reason to spend money with them. On Tuesday, they announced a brand new iMac that has some serious design issues. The iMac will be available in seven colors including “green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue and silver”. And yes, Apple will have color-coordinated accessories for the iMac, such as: B. a Magic Mouse, a Magic Trackpad and a Magic Keyboard.
The colors are designed to “match a user’s personal style and brighten any room,” Apple said in a statement posted on its official website.
Freeing up your storage space isn’t the only exciting computer upgrade, however. The updated iMac is also super thin, 11.5 millimeters to be precise. Apple said the computer “practically disappears” when viewed from a side profile angle.
The California-based company has also poured some funds into improving the functionality of the iMac. The new screen has been specially developed for your viewing pleasure. It measures 24 inches and has a 4.5K retina display, the color of which adapts depending on the environment. For my tech nerds who love the details, the screen also has “11.3 million pixels, 500 nits of brightness, and over a billion colors”. All of this leads to a “brilliant and lively viewing experience”, according to Apple.
The iMac also reportedly runs smoothly and quickly – thanks to its M1 chip. To put it in context, a user can open hundreds of tabs in Safari while still using other apps.
In addition, Apple has implemented the Touch ID function for the new iMac for the first time. It can be used similarly to its function on the latest iPhone models. With Touch ID you can unlock your computer, make purchases or simply switch between user profiles.
Apple’s official website will start taking orders for the new iMac starting April 30th, priced between $ 1,249 and $ 1,499.
