Adam Schiff on Kevin McCarthy: “By turning into all sorts of pretzels to gain the support of his conference members, it further ties him to these insurgents.”

Schiff said: to MSNBC’s Deadline: White House:

.The real scandal, in my opinion, is not that he did the right thing at the time, but the fact that he has to lie in order to do the right thing, to gain the support of his base and the support of his members at the conference. But by morphing into all sorts of pretzels to keep his conference members’ support, it puts him even further in league with these insurgents, providing them with material and others who may be able to attack the capitol next time maybe with more success.

This happens when the speakers are dependent on the absolute lowest common denominator. It not only endangers congressmen, but also the public and the Capitol. It puts the capital’s police officers at risk.

Kevin McCarthy is keen to rewrite the 1/6 attack story for Donald Trump and the Republican Party by allowing accused domestic terrorists access to the security camera footage of the building they attacked.

McCarthy has jeopardized American security so he can retain his speakership.

It was common knowledge that McCarthy might be one of the weakest public speakers in history after having to give up everything to get the votes to the speaker, but as Rep. Schiff correctly pointed out, McCarthy has gone beyond weakness and is helping people who it do attacked the United States.

Kevin McCarthy hangs out with local terrorists, and his bad decisions could lead to tragedy.
