UMass Amherst students, alumni, faculty, friends, and fans love to sport the maroon and white. So when the folks who run the UMass Amherst Gateway (umass.edu) Web site solicited with summer photos, they came pouring in. One of our favorites was from Emily Goczalk ’07, above, who wrote: “I’m feeding some of the seals at my internship, where I rehabilitated orphaned pups. The facility is Island Wildlife on Saltspring Island in British Columbia. At the peak of the season we had 83 seals that got fed four times daily.”
